How far in advance do I need to book?
As soon as possible! Our holiday and weekend bookings fill up the quickest, along with our mid-day potty break slots. We will do our best to accommodate last-minute requests.

What is your cancellation/holiday policy?
Cancellations may be made up until 7 pm on the day before service for daily walking clients. Otherwise, a 50% charge may apply. If we arrive and are not needed, a full charge will apply.
Pet sitting services require cancellation notice at least three full days prior to the scheduled visit -- with holiday periods requiring one full week (7 days). Failure to do so will result in a 50% charge of scheduled services.
How is visit length structured?
Our visit length is timed from when we arrive at your front door to when we leave your home.

Is there any charge for additional pets?
No! We charge by length of visit. If you have three pets that only require 30 minutes total, schedule a 30 minute visit. If you have 1 pet that likes lots of extra loves, schedule a 1 hour visit. We'll work together to figure out what is best for you and your pet!
Is Woodbridge Pet Care bonded and insured? If so, with whom?
Yes! We are bonded and insured through a comprehensive policy with Pet Care Insurance.
Do you provide references?
Absolutely! We have many loyal clients eager to share their experiences with prospective clients. Just let us know, and we will provide these for you!

What type of training do your employees receive?
After completing an application and undergoing a thorough background check, our employees receive free first aid training. In addition, for each client they visit, they shadow an employee experienced with that client to ensure everyone is comfortable with the future visits.
Will I have the same pet care professional for each visit?
We attempt to assign the same team member to all or most of the visits for ongoing care. However, that is not always feasible. Each team member is given the opportunity to meet every pet household with an experienced team member before conducting a visit alone. Each team member uses the detailed notes from your details in the client portal to deliver excellent care to ensure consistent service. You have access to all of your care details in your online portal and can update those details as necessary whenever you need to.

Do you provide any documentation of your time with my pets?
Of course! After each visit, we provide a detailed account of the visit, including pictures, a GPS route of our walk, and notes regarding your pet's day. This note is accessible in the app that we use, Time to Pet, or is available online, so you have access anywhere you are: your office, dinner, or even out of town.

Do you offer referral incentives?
Yes! We offer a $25 credit towards your next service for every referral that results in a client visit.
What is your inclement weather policy?
In dangerous weather conditions (i.e., thunderstorms, extreme heat, extreme cold, etc.), dogs will be taken out long enough to relieve themselves. The remainder of the visit time will be spent indoors. Please ensure clear access to your home for our visit, including arranging for snow/ice removal if you are out of town. If we have difficulty reaching your pet during your scheduled visit window, we will conduct the visit as soon as safely possible. If we cannot reach your pet, we will contact your emergency contacts on file to aid in care.

My pet does not need daily care while I am away. Can you come every other day or every few days?
We encourage dog visits at least once every 12 hours and all other pets at least once every 24 hours. This is to ensure their safety and ensure there have been no injuries. We believe that every pet should have at least one visit per day for a well-check.

My pet needs medication-can you administer the medicine?
Sure-all of our team members can administer oral and topical medication. We also have several team members trained in administering injections and fluids. Instructions for administration will be noted in your pet's profile.

My pet has some “special needs.” Can you accommodate this?
We can provide care to most pets, and we currently service many special-needs pets. We will gladly work with you to find the best care options.

What kind of leash/harness/collar do you use?
Safety is our #1 priority! We work together with you to decide what is best for each pet in your home.
